Inspired by the early arrival of Autumn—the cool, breezy days, rain-soaked gardens, and foliage fading into warm, rustic hues—I created this illustration, Autumn Leaves, to capture the rich textures and cosy mood of the season.

A casual chat at the gym turned into an exciting new venture for Badger Graphics!

I got talking with Nick, the owner of Anise in Chorley, and it turned out they were looking for a supplier of postcard-sized prints featuring local Chorley landmarks and scenery. Naturally, I couldn't resist the challenge.

After fine-tuning artwork sizes and experimenting with paper finishes and stock weights, I settled on a featured lineup of 12 local designs:

- Preston England Temple Chorley -

"Seeing the Preston Temple spire all lit up, with Moroni glistening away on top as I drove up the M61, always meant I was nearly home."

When a friend shared that memory with me and asked for a piece in the moody silhouette style of my Chorley Town Hall drawing, I couldn't resist.

This week’s drawing is a fresh take on another Chorley landmark. It's a slightly simpler design than my recent pieces, but its striking outline and quiet atmosphere really catch the eye.

As always, I keep things independent. Every piece is printed, mounted, and framed completely in-house.

Finally managed to swing by Black Rabbit yesterday for a meal with friends and to hand over a drawing I finished back in May of their fantastic new pub in Croston.

The team loved my take on the building and didn't waste any time finding the perfect spot for it on the wall. I can’t wait to pop back in and see it properly framed and mounted in its new home!

Latest Release: Sycamore Seed - Paradise Park - Leyland

A striking new sculpture by artist Andrew McKeown now stands at the entrance to Paradise Park, right at the junction of the new Midge Hall estates. Saved from a decade of obscurity in a council depot, the piece was rescued and installed thanks to the efforts of The Friends of Paradise Park, a dedicated local volunteer group.

Vintage Travel Poster Illustration
Crafted in the iconic aesthetic of a vintage travel poster, this artwork transforms the original photograph through meticulous digital craftsmanship. Every detail is constructed from over 1,483 hand-drawn, individually colored polygons, creating a vibrant geometric homage to the new landmark.
