Intrepid team set to conquer Kilimanjaro for the Greenfingers Charity!!

An intrepid team of fundraisers is gearing up to scale Africa’s tallest peak in a bold and inspiring effort to raise vital funds and awareness for the Greenfingers Charity, which creates therapeutic gardens for children’s hospices across the UK.

From 10th to 21st June 2026, a group of 17 passionate individuals, comprising well-known faces from the garden retail and horticultural industry, along with friends, family, and colleagues, will take on the formidable challenge of summiting Mount Kilimanjaro, the legendary ‘Roof of Africa’. Towering at 5,895m, Kilimanjaro is one of the world’s most iconic and demanding bucket-list climbs.

From production to point-of-sale, the breadth of exhibits on display is the show’s strength, attracting a broad visitor base. The event takes place on a 23-acre nursery site in Cheshire UK, close to , covering an area of 13,000m² under glass with additional outdoor areas.

Massive displays of plant material form the heart of the show, with young plant producers using the platform to launch the next season’s lines. Mature stock and specimen plants from across Europe create magnificent showcase displays. Machinery, growing media, sundries, retail products, Christmas trees and merchandise, services and practically everything the sector can use or re-sell is found on the aisles at Four Oaks. More than 35% of participating companies are from overseas.
