🟤 Emily Kam Kngwarray was an Anmatyerr woman from Alhalker Country in the Northern Territory, Australia. She translated her lived experience and cultural engagement with her homelands into vibrant batiks and monumental paintings, creating a wondrous sense of place. Her unique style and powerful creative vision redefined Aboriginal art.
