The faith legacy of iconic rapper DMX continues through his family. In a recent video posted on social media, DMX’s third son, Sean Simmons, and his niece openly declared their commitment to Jesus Christ by being baptised. The moment was shared by Sean’s mother, who celebrated the occasion with a heartfelt message.
In her caption, she wrote, “ALL THE GLORY GOES TO GOD FOR HIS FAITHFULNESS! Today my niece and my baby declared openly that Jesus Christ is their Lord and Saviuor! They were baptised! Devil you lost!”
She described how they overcame spiritual challenges—“shame, pride, doubt, fear, insecurity, confusion, resistance, and spiritual strongholds”—and replaced them with “peace, strength, love, happiness, joy, clarity, patience, long suffering, etc., just some of the fruits of our holy father God.”
Expressing her gratitude, she added, “I am so grateful to God to witness such a beautiful experience! We all have our struggles and our battles… We are living in some very dark times, but Jesus’ light shines through it all. I pray you are inspired. God is so great! Nothing else matters but my relationship I have with you (Jesus, God)—you are the truth and the light.”
We pray that the Lord strengthen and protect them as they walk with him. May his love, peace, and wisdom fill their lives, and may their testimony shine as a light to others. Use their journey to inspire hope and faith in all who hear their story. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
