Richard Smallwood was one of the most influential gospel composers of all time, known for writing music that blends classical, jazz, and traditional gospel.

Founder of Richard Smallwood & Vision, the group became iconic in the 1980s and 1990s, delivering sophisticated gospel arrangements that raised the musical standard in church and gospel radio.

He has received multiple Stellar Awards, Dove Awards, and lifetime achievement honours for his contribution to gospel music.

A true gospel legends, we’re praying for his loved ones and those affected by his passing 🙏🏽❤️
