Over the past two weeks, Perry (our founder at Pez Post-Productions) took on the Rampage Rally 3D community challenge by Pwnisher. With just 14 days to create and submit, the project pushed both artist and machine to the limit, 144 frames rendered at around 30 minutes per frame!

In this new video, we’re sharing the making-of process, featuring:

⚡ The highs and struggles of working under tight deadlines

It’s been a huge few weeks as we’ve shifted into full gear, transforming from a general production company into a specialised Post-Production studio. We’re now expanding our services nationwide, offering:
🎬 Video Editing
🎨 Animation & VFX
🎧 Audio & Colour Services

One of our biggest developments has been optimising workflows to create 3D maps for site inductions. These allow us to deliver clear, simplified site plans showing roads, walkways, buildings, and key hazard locations, perfect for high-risk or industrial sites at a reasonable cost.

We’ve also been busy producing tutorial-style training videos using Camtasia, which we’re now officially adding to our editing service lineup.

On top of all that, Perry (our founder) has been pushing creative limits with a submission for the Rampage Rally 3D community challenge hosted by Pwnisher. Here’s a sneak frame from the scene 👇 (still uncomposited).

With 144 frames rendering at ~30 minutes per frame, this project really pushed both artist and machine to the limit! While I wish I had tackled it in Unreal Engine, the insight gained from building such a large scene in Blender under time pressure has been invaluable.

We’re excited to keep building, creating, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in Post-Production.

🚨 Important Update from Pez Productions 🚨

After a lot of thought and reflection, we’ve made the decision to restructure the business and focus on what we do best.

📌 Pez Productions is now officially becoming Pez Post-Production! A studio dedicated solely to delivering high-end Post-Production services across the UK.

🎬 From now on, our sole focus will be on professional video editing, colour grading, animation, and motion design — built for agencies, production companies, and freelancers who need reliable, top-tier Post-Production support.

❌ This means we will no longer be offering:

Filming services
Drone services
Website design
Branding packages
Social media content packages
Community-led video projects

💼 Over the next few weeks, our website and socials will reflect this change as we transition fully into a specialist post-production house. We’ll also be investing in the best tools, plugins, and creative assets to meet the demands of high-end video work.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far, we’re incredibly excited for this next chapter and can’t wait to collaborate with creators, studios, and storytellers who need that final polish to bring their vision to life.

We’re Pez Productions, a video production company based in the local area, and we’re working on a community-focused documentary series to shine a positive light on the people, businesses and projects that make Tendring unique.

As a Type 1 Diabetes myself, this really resonated with me. It’s inspiring to see a community where understanding and support are second nature. Huge credit to The Dance Spot for raising awareness and creating such a thoughtful environment. 💙

🩸 It’s Diabetes Week, and we wanted to take a moment to talk about it.

As many of you know, Brad (our instructor and founder) lives with Type 1 Diabetes.
He teaches, trains, competes, and runs a full dance school, all while managing a condition that never takes a minute of the day off.

But the part that makes us proud?
Our kids are incredible with it.
They’ve learned what a hypo is. They know when Brad’s alarm goes off and recognise that he might need a minute. Some of them even remind him to check his blood sugar (legends). 💙

Sometimes you’ll hear that beep mid-class and a kid will casually go, “Brad’s getting an orange from the fridge” – and they’re right. The same goes for Lauren, who isn’t diabetic but sometimes struggles with low blood sugar. They look out for her too.

We also have family members who are in our community who live with diabetes, and honestly, it’s beautiful to see the understanding and care that naturally build in an environment like ours.

And just to reassure anyone reading – the kids are always safe. Brad manages his condition responsibly, and knows exactly what to do and when. The team is fully aware and the environment is always supervised with care.

What’s it like being a dancer with diabetes?
It’s a constant juggle. Blood sugars drop fast with movement, rise with adrenaline, and everything has to be planned – food, insulin, breaks, routines.

But dance helps:
✅ It improves blood sugar control
✅ Lowers stress levels
✅ Builds body awareness and confidence

It’s not always easy.
There are moments of exhaustion, frustration and fear, especially behind the scenes. But there’s also something powerful about overcoming it every single day.

This week is about raising awareness. Not just about the challenges, but about the strength, resilience and joy that can live alongside diabetes.
