🐾💡 In 2017, we began working on an immersive canine veterinary simulation, using VR to put users in the role of the vet. Originally built as a marketing tool, this project revealed something bigger: the power of VR in clinical education.

By transforming complex veterinary processes into interactive, story-driven experiences, we made canine healthcare accessible, memorable, and impactful. Beyond boosting empathy and confidence in treatment methods, the simulation showed how VR can:

✨ Create risk-free, repeatable training environments

✨ Strengthen long-term knowledge retention

✨ Engage users on a deeper level

🚴‍♂️✨ Throwback to Rouleur Live 2018 - when we swapped static stands for virtual brand storytelling and behind-the-scenes access.

Partnering with Saddleback Ltd, we transformed a traditional tradeshow stand into an immersive AR/VR journey. From iPad-activated AR windows revealing 180° behind-the-scenes views of the warehouse, boardroom, and offices… to VR rides streamed from a pro cyclist’s chest cam, guests experienced the brand like never before! 👀

This was more than just a product display - it was brand storytelling on two wheels, capturing Saddlebacks’ passion, precision, and performance through truly immersive marketing.

📍✨ Earlier this week, our developer Lillie took a trip to Grand Junction at St Mary Magdalene's, our amazing project partners bringing heritage and community together in London’s Paddington.

Based inside the stunning St Mary Magdalene Church, home to jaw-dropping Victorian architecture, Lillie spent the day testing each Augmented Reality experience, fine-tuning the alignments, and collaborating with the incredible volunteer historians who’ve helped shape the stories you’ll see come alive ⛪ 🕰️ 💬

History, tech, and community - all coming together under one incredible roof 🙌

🔎 Revealing the past, one AR portal at a time! 🏛✨

Our 3D team is stuck into the Kenilworth Revealed project, meticulously reconstructing the lost St. Mary’s Abbey and surrounding landscape in stunning detail.

Last week, we travelled to Kenilworth to test the AR portals onsite for the first time! Combining our detailed 3D model of the site as it stood in 1500 with carefully geo-located AR portals, we’re bringing this medieval marvel back to life.

Our VR binoculars have now taken root in the heart of the brand new Carbon Garden at Kew Gardens 🌱✨

Through the lenses, you’ll uncover the fascinating science behind plant life cycles - watch as the process of photosynthesis is broken down, revealing the incredible ways plants capture and store carbon.

With fresh new photography capturing the binoculars in situ, they’re ready for visitors to step up, look closer, and explore the unseen layers of nature 💚

🚀 Mission to Venus - dodge lava flows, survive scorching heat, and return safely to your rocket

🦣 Lost Giants Safari - come face-to-face with enormous extinct creatures in stunning virtual habitats

Using custom-built VR spaces, motion-tracked avatars, directional audio, and immersive set dressing, we transformed 10x10m physical rooms into vast, explorable worlds - making the impossible feel real!

From the hottest planet in the solar system to the plains once roamed by giant ground sloths, these experiences blended education and entertainment, sparking curiosity about our planet’s past, present, and future for an unforgettable family day out 🌱💡

School’s out for summer - but many educators are already planning for the year ahead! 📚☀️

At Zubr, we’re here to support your planning and teaching with creative, curriculum-friendly AR and VR tools that bring learning to life. From interactive apps that uncover the hidden layers of science, to VR binoculars that offer immersive glimpses into the past, our digital experiences are designed to spark curiosity and boost engagement in the classroom.

Here, you can see our work with University of Bristol Theatre Collection. Together we developed the ‘Making A Scene’ augmented reality app, used onstage at Bristol Old Vic during school work experience and in workshops at Bristol University’s Theatre Collection! This AR theatre focused app made a range of fragile materials from the Old Vic’s archive available to students, whilst shining a light on often-overlooked theatre careers.

Our recent visit to 🌟
In mid-June, our Art Director Chris Price () travelled to Grand Junction in London - just a stone’s throw from Paddington Station. Based at the stunning St Mary Magdalene Church, one of the finest examples of neo-Gothic architecture in the UK, Grand Junction has transformed the space into a vibrant community hub.
We’ve been collaborating with their incredible team to develop fresh digital interpretations that bring the church’s rich history and stories to life. It’s been a joy working alongside their dedicated volunteers, whose knowledge and enthusiasm have been invaluable.
Chris shared, “It was fantastic to visit Grand Junction and get a sense of the space. So many details and stories to reveal. It was a pleasure to meet the volunteers and demonstrate some of the technical experiments we have made so far. Everyone was so excited!”
At Zubr, we’re passionate about supporting communities and heritage experts to share their stories in immersive and meaningful ways. Being on-site is a vital part of that journey - and we can’t wait to share more from this project soon.

A walk down memory lane - with the grubs! 🐛

Throwing it back to when we brought soil science to life with AR at 2019 🌱✨

In partnership with Syngenta, we turned oversized chafer grub sculptures into living, wriggling stories of soil pests - blending physical installations with interactive AR. Farmers and industry pros could explore the hidden lifecycle of these pests and learn how to tackle them, all through immersive tech.

This project wasn’t just eye-catching, it sparked real conversations, turning complex agricultural science into something memorable, tactile, and impactful. It’s a perfect example of how augmented reality can elevate product marketing, creating deeper, more meaningful connections with customers 🌾💡
