Last month we had the pleasure of being a part of Corinne and Edward's wedding day at Holme Pierrepont Hall ✨️

Katie & Michael 😍

A couple of weeks ago we had the pleasure of being a part of Katie and Michael's wedding day at The Old Vicarage Boutique in Southwell 🎶

DJ Nigel had an incredible night celebrating with Katie, Michael's and their family and friends. These guys definitely loved a dance, filling the dance floor all night long 💃🕺

We also had a special guest (family member) sing a couple of songs 🎤

Hitched Award Winner for a 4th Year in A Row 🥳

We are super proud to share that we've once again won the award for Best Wedding DJ in the Hitched Awards. This is the 4th time in a row we have won, and it's all done to our truly awesome couples 🤩

The Hitched weddinf awards are won purely by getting reviews from couples in a 12 month period. In order to qualify, you have to receive a minimum amount of 5 star reviews, and then you are battling it out as to who can get the most 💪

The HUGEST thank you to everyone who has taken the time to leave us a review on Hitched (and also Google and Bridebook). Along with winning awards which always feels good, it helps other couples know that they are going to be in safe hands when comparing wedding suppliers ✨️

Feeling nervous about your first dance? Don’t worry—we’ve got you covered! Our First Dance Masterclass is designed to give you a few simple steps to help you feel more comfortable on the dance floor. This is not about teaching you a fully choreographed routine—just some easy moves to help you glide across the floor with confidence and create a couple of ‘wow’ moments for those all-important photos!

Led by a professional dance teacher at Jackstar HQ, this relaxed and fun session is perfect for couples who want to add a little magic to their first dance without the pressure. Check out the dates in the photo, and if you’d like to join us, just let us know—we’d love to see you there! 💃🕺🎶

Review Time!

We just received the most amazing review from one of our lovely couples! They said DJ Jack took their handful of 'must-play' songs and spun them into a setlist that kept the dance floor packed all night long! 💃🕺

Here at Jackstar Weddings, we make it super easy for our couples to share with us a few of their favourite tracks (alonf with the odd song they don't like too, we all have one right?!). With our online portal, you can add your must-plays (and, of course, the do-not-plays too!) and this then gives us an idea of what else might go down well with you and your guest!

Our team of talented DJs then take over. Using their experience and reading the room on the night, they mix your favorites with floor fillers, keeping the energy high and the party going strong all night long! 🥳
