LOCAL PROJECTS – EXPRESS YOUR VIEW

‘Planning Gain’ (S.106): It is understood that some £400,000 is available to fund projects to mitigate the impact of the local developments.

The Councils appear to have listed three projects – a community facility with changing rooms, at the Glebe upgrade at MICA Centre and a healthcare centre/GP surgery.

We have received letters and comments with other suggestions. We have been asked to list the projects to allow the community to select their favourite. We will publish the results in the next issue.
We are aware that technical, legal and financial issues could mean that projects could not be delivered but at least the local views would be known.
