What happens when the water we trust contains chemicals our bodies can’t break down?

A new study out of the Netherlands found PFAS —so-called “forever chemicals” — in nearly every person tested, often at levels above what’s considered safe. These contaminants are nearly impossible to avoid and build up over time, posing serious risks to long-term health.
