Super proud moment today! My uncle has officially opened the doors to The Tiny Music Store, his brand new music shop in Colchester!

He’s been working incredibly hard to get to where he is and it’s been amazing helping him over the past few weeks as everything came together.

After a trip down to see the lovely guys at Ashdown Engineering, he was finally ready to get people through the door.

After the closure of places like Music Warehouse and Sound Attack, we feel Colchester is in need of another store ready to help provide quality gear and services for the local music scene.

Rich is down to earth and willing to help anyone who walks through his door. Just pop in for a cuppa, he's always down to chat.

The shop is now open to the public, check it out and help support a small business here in Colchester. I see big things to come from within this tiny space.

Guitar tracking once again with Violent Solution 💪
We’ve reached the halfway point in pre-production, the guides are already shaping up nicely. Excited to see this album come together!

I’ll also be handling drum writing and recording duties for the project — can't wait to get started on that 🥁

Kev is in the studio today, tracking some massive sounding guitars while working on pre-production for another album from Violent Solution.

We've still got a lot to get through but we are especially looking forward to this one! Kev will be a regular visitor here over the next few months, keep an eye out for what's to come 👀

Had a great time working with this lovely bunch, giving them a hand with starting their pre-production journey.

We ate brownies, laid down some demos and brainstormed some textural ideas. Sounding so good guys 🙌

Status Quo fans!

These guys were in for a rehearsal over the weekend and sounded so good. If you're looking for a Status Quo tribute act, look no further.

All members have plenty of experience and know how to put on a show. They have their debut gig on November 28th, at the Harvey Centre in Harlow.

Drummers!

We have fitted all our rehearsal room kits with Not Nuts cymbal sleeves — these clever little things keep hold of your cymbals without the need for felts and wing nuts. Just slide your cymbals on when you arrive and you're good to go.

Just like every other normal cymbal sleeve, they stop metal-on-metal contact between your cymbals and stands to prevent keyholing.

They are a small detail that we think will make a big difference, and we’re seriously impressed with how well they do the job.

Big shout out to No Nuts Percussion for making something so simple yet so effective! 👏
