Absolutely smashing 🍔

Visit Manna Smash Burgers on James Street for a proper smash burger - one of the best smash burgers in London imo

We ate the Manna Platter which is the ideal if you want to try the best of Manna

• Classic Smash Burger - smashed beef patty, American cheese, mustard, ketchup, mayo, pickles and diced onion.
• Nashville hot tenders with a cayenne spiced and ranch dip
• Hot crunchy waffle fries
6 Pickles + sauces
• Diet Coke with THE most perfectly square ice cubes I've ever
seen

That smash burger was honestly one of the best l've tried in a long time: juicy, sloppy, cheesy and packed with those caramelised crispy edges you want from a proper smash burger.

The Nashville tenders had the perfect cayenne kick, and being half Polish, I was OBSESSED with the deep dill flavour in the ranch sauce.

And yes... I made an absolute mess of myself but that's the sign of a good smash burger

Manna is all about bold American smash-joint flavours, and this new Marylebone spot is definitely worth adding to your London food list.

Still slightly in disbelief that little ol’ me was invited to the launch of the new series of The Great British Bake Off 🥹🍰

An evening surrounded by TV royalty and some of the biggest cooking and baking heroes I’ve watched for years. And then to be in the room for a Q&A with Nigella, Paul Hollywood, Noel Fielding and Alison Hammond… honestly, what a moment!

From the delicious food to getting a sneak peek of the brand-new series, it was unreal.

Feeling very lucky that this little food-loving journey is taking me to places I never imagined. ❤️

🍊 Greek orange cake - Portokalopita 🍊

This cake can be eaten all year round but I particularly love it during the ‘ber’ months. Oranges and citrus fruits seem to burst with flavour after the summer and start reminding me of Christmas and cloves.

Super easy to make as filo/phillo pastry is the flour in this cake with a sugar egg mixture binding it together. Not always featured in some Portokalopita recipes but I always add ground cinnamon and ground cloves to my cake batter.
