To allow for the event to be set up and to take place, we have several road closures in place:
โ๏ธ From 10am on Friday, 28th November, we will have a road closure in place from Dockray Street down to the traffic lights on Market Street. This is to allow for the stage and backstage area to be installed with all the suitable sound and lighting equipment. Hartley Square will also be closed.
โ๏ธ Then, from 6pm on Friday, 28th November, the closure will change and be in place from the junction of Windy Bank down to the traffic lights on Market Street and this will remain in place until Saturday, 29th November at 10pm. This is to allow for the Christmas Market to be installed.
โ๏ธ We will also have a rolling road closure in place on Saturday, 29th November from the Crown Hotel to St Bartholomew's Church and this will be to allow for the popular torch lit procession to take place
