Acne sufferers šŸ¤ I sit down with Holly from for a detailed chat about everything to do with the complexity of acne (and eczema - we cover a few different skin concerns in this episode) and the angles that need looking at.

And did you know that microneedling - and radio frequency microneedling - might start being an option for active acne?! Interesting!

Holly also teaches us about why tretinoin might not work on everybody, the mistakes people make about aging and acne, and a bit of deep diving into the yucky side of spots (if you’re a spot picker, this one’s for you too!)

Comment SKIN CHAT to listen in and learn - every episode contains points to take away to actually learn something new about skin and beauty šŸ¤

Managing the emotions and resistance towards school and pre school feels like such a big side of parenting before the drop offs - that sometimes makes me wonder what its like to have excited, dread free children around school šŸ¤”

Does anyone else feel this?

ad | I’m the first to admit we need downtime during the summer holidays - two kids and a jam packed intinery and *juggling* a bit of working from home 🤣 I don’t know about your kids, but mine LOVE creating a ā€˜daytime cinema’, so I decided to introduce them to some iconic kids shows from years back streaming on . I set the challenge that they *could* love them more than some of the shows they’ve been watching for ages out of habit, and although they kicked off a bit initially, 5 mins into Bob The Builder made them avid fans!

We also had lots of laughs with Mr Bean - and I was sent down memory lane with Ninja Turtles.

stream so many iconic shows that us parents remember from years back, so it’s actually enjoyable ā€˜daytime cinema’ downtime for us grown ups too!

What’s your favourite nostalgic kids tv show?

āœˆļø Come with us: in Belek, Turkey

First time as a family in Turkey, highs of 36 degree temps which was made very comfortable with the multiple pools (some of them were a lovely, warm but refreshing temp) and the large shaded sun lounger areas - oh and strong air con!

We stayed in the family connecting rooms, which are what I’d recommend with two kids so you have a separate sleeping area. Heres an honest weigh up of the hotel but feel free to dm me for more in depth -

Highs: Amazing pools, 2 designed for kids with a variety of slides to suit most ages, enough slides for it to be fun but not overstimulating and it doesn’t feel like you’re at a waterpark (not the vibe I wanted so that was good!). The other pools were quite warm, spacious, with family games taking place too.

All inclusive was great - variety of food and drinks, cocktail menu was decent, mocktails for the kids, ice cream bar available all day, beach bar had different snacks, so many different eating spots etc

Entertainment - the evening shows were brilliant! kids disco was also ideal for the kids, there was a kids club too but Tyler was too young so we didn’t try it.

Beach - private hotel beach you can stroll to with full access to beach bars with the all inclusive. All shaded, a very clean beach, the sea felt quite warm in July, it was just faff free having it on our doorstep.

Lows: I mean there wasn’t anything that really frustrated us. I would have liked to have seen a dedicated kids section in the dining hall - I have two extremely picky eaters. I also requested a room close to the main building and we were actually quite far out but they did explain the family rooms tend to be in the further away blocks.

For reference, there’s no collab here or anything - in fact we paid twice because the first time we cancelled due to chicken pox and then immediately rebooked and still haven’t heard back from our travel insurance 🫣

A super hotel for families - we had the best time!

5 years of no living room centre piece or chic foot stool- kids car tracks, dolls houses, toy boxes etc have always sat infront of our sofa! Now that the kids are 5 and 3, slowly some toys are making their way in their rooms, and the living room is changing …

Obsessed with this foot stool that doubles as a coffee table from - it’s the wide tufted square standard ottoman and it really gives the room a completed look (and practicality!)

Cannot promise my kids won’t be jumping off it in the evenings but it’s a bit prettier than what used to live in that space šŸ˜… Link in bio and stories. *prcollab

Tie them to washing poles, table legs, chair legs, trampoline legs, whatever you can so you don’t spend a summer holding the bubble tubes again 🤪
