A session we definitely won’t be forgetting, ever.

We started off the evening collecting some livebait and then headed out in search of bass. As soon as the tide started moving we were immediately into them, and the stamp of fish was just incredible…

70, 65, 63, 60, 58

That’s an average length of 63.2cm

All on the lure rods, which led to some incredible fights and not much sleep, I think we ended the session at around 4:30am…

A seriously well fed fish falling to live scad last night… after spending the evening covering the shoreline with no luck, I finally spooked this fish which from the disturbance I knew was good. Cast the scad immediately where it spooked from and within less than a second my drag was screaming. How big do you reckon she was in cm? Take your guesses in the comments…

A well conditioned 63cm fish falling to live scad last night. With over an hour of my scad remaining untouched, I was beginning to think I should call it a night and then boom, this fish smashed it. It put up an incredible fight on the Rapala Europe classic countdown 3.5g-14g rod, with absolutely screaming runs and the rod bent double. It’s great to be back on the fish with a busy year not allowing for as much fishing as last year… but now the scad are back the season will be full steam ahead for me now 💪🏼🐟

Some evenings just end up being better than you planned. We met up with our mate Roscoe for a few pints before he headed off to the Isles of Scilly, we then grabbed a speaker and made our way down to Cape Cornwall to catch the sunset.

It was one of those evenings where there was no real plan just good company, good music, and an unreal view. Obviously, we couldn’t resist taking a rod with us (it wouldn’t be us otherwise), and after a few casts we managed to land a cracking wrasse to round the evening off perfectly.

Sometimes it’s not about chasing big fish or filming a crazy session, it’s just about getting out, enjoying the coast, and making the most of summer evenings like this. 🌅🎣🍻

During a heatwave, there aren’t many places we’d rather be. 🚤☀️

This lovely po***ck came from one of our favourite bits of reef just off Falmouth. A double hookup of near double figure fish really put our Rapala Shadow Blades to the test, and they didn’t disappoint.

All in all, an incredible day on the water covering over 70 miles while exploring the coastline, finding new marks, and making the most of the conditions. Days like these are hard to beat. 🎣

Did someone say The Fal Anglers are posting on YouTube tonight?! 👀 It’s been a long time coming, but we are finally back and will now be posting more often again!! This is one fish that makes an appearance this evening, not the most interesting thing that happens in the video by any means, but have a look at this guys tail… any ideas? Would be rude not to head down and try again… bigger ones about but playing hard to get, this mid 50cm fish was the biggest one of two to make an appearance. Taken again on the 5cm crushcity paddle tail with the frog jighead, smashed it on the drop again , headtorch powering us through from

There’s a lesson to make sure you have an in focus shot before you release a fish… 🤣 Finally got uni work out the way for this year, and in light of the warmer weather I thought my favourite bass mark may have finally kicked off, albeit about a month later than 2025. Packed the car and set off, as soon as I arrived it was teaming with bass. Immediately I spooked 2 good fish in the shallows and at that moment I knew I wasn’t going to leave without a fish. I moved down the shoreline away from where I spooked the fish and started fan casting, there was bioluminescence in the water which meant I could see my lure all the way in almost. First cast it got to my feet and the distinct outline of a nice size bass, all lit up in blue bioluminescence had a proper swing and a miss at the lure. This happened about 6 times over before I gave up and moved further away again. First cast on the drop and slam, a lovely 50cm fish to put a bend in the rod. So nice to finally hear the drag go after such a busy year education wise, and now I’m done for this year hopefully plenty more to come!! Just means sleeping in the car a few times this season 🥱 gear being put to use for another season 💪🏼 this one fancied a crushcity 5cm paddletail paired with our all time favourite frog jighead 😛

So good to finally be back out on the water after all that weather. This PB bull huss from our latest video definitely made it worth the wait! coming in at 12lbs Caught on fresh mackerel using a simple sliding ledger rig… all explained in the video 🎣

Big shoutout to our camera lady as well for filming and getting the shots once again, she’s currently working on a documentary with us, so keep an eye out for that 👀
