Another photo from my visit to a place I have been itching to go! It was the first forest where it looked like somewhere from America it was breathtaking! Sporting my trusty MTP UK Army day bag & recently I got some surplus Altberg Defenders, lovely boots! I saw some makeshift huts out of branches which would make a good camp! Going to revisit here soon!

🌱 “As the seasons turn, the acorn reminds us: within the smallest seed lives the promise of a mighty forest.” 🍂

A gentle reminder that every change, like the turning of the seasons, carries growth within it. 🌳✨

Oak you glad I can ID this tree?! 🌳 It's an oak tree & the acorns are a dead giveaway so I’ve learned! Thanks to books written by and help from my good friend for encouraging me to research with books! Here’s to many more tree and other things ID 🪪

Rediscover the wilderness 🌲

I received my hoodie from my competition win hosted by - it’s so warm and it’s the perfect fit. I’m loving the brand and the boldness of it the logo. I also like the idea of someone seeing it out and about and starts thinking about getting outside, plus it lets people know about . It’d be cool to see more of these hoodies about. Letting us all rediscover the wilderness & reminding others.

You’ll find this lovely hoodie from

I’m looking to get back out into the woodland environment, I’m coming off my mental health medication and I’m feeling better for it, I don’t like how I was feeling on them. It took me a while to notice the downsides to how many I was on. I was put on them during a crisis and I was with the home treatment team. Fast forward 2 years and I’ve started feeling like 💩. My mental health actually feels worse on them because I feel like a zombie 🧟, I sleep in late & I have zero motivation. I’ve started feeling so much better for reducing them and slowly eliminating each pill 💊. I am feeling the motivation come back, my grogginess has reduced & I feel alert 🚨. This is just my personal experience with mental health medication & they did something at the beginning but being on them for this amount of time for me just isn’t helping. Please don’t think because they haven’t worked for me they won’t do for you. I just feel I want to use natural stuff like nature and good food and wild swimming and just soothing my mind with what earth gave me! So anyway I’ll shut up now 😂 just wanted to say that I’m bouncing back and becoming me again!

The walk to Talland Bay is a picturesque journey along the Cornish coast, offering breathtaking views of the sea and rolling countryside. Starting from nearby Polperro, the path winds through narrow lanes bordered by wildflowers and hedgerows before opening up to expansive coastal vistas. As you approach the bay, the rugged cliffs and rocky shoreline come into view, with the crystal-clear waters of the bay gently lapping at the pebbled beach. The air is fresh with the scent of salt and seaweed, and the tranquil atmosphere is occasionally punctuated by the calls of seabirds. It’s a peaceful, invigorating walk that immerses you in the beauty of Cornwall’s natural landscape. Definitely worth a visit
