Firstly a massive apology for being so inactive on here! I’m back to both college and work now so am trying very hard to fit everything in!

Recently, Ivy-Rose had the opportunity to ride a trike specially made for her, however, the trike would cost £2772 for her family to buy.
It would be amazing if we could raise some money to help towards the costs.

A little bit about Ivy—rose;

Ivy-Rose has Phelan-Mcdermid syndrome.. a rare disease that affects just over 2000 in the whole world. Phelan-Mcdermid syndrome is a deletion or mutation on chromosome 22q13.3..
Ivy-Rose has a deletion of 8.46mb, which is on the high end of the scale as the deletions vary from 0.22 to 9.22mb .
Ivy-Rose is non-verbal, significantly delayed in her development, tube fed, suffers from seizures, is unable to regulate her body temperature, has hypotonia (low muscle tone), dystonia (a movement disorder) and more. Ivy-Rose also has some of the physical features that present in people with PMS such as long eyelashes, full eyebrows, puffy hands and feet, pointy chin. Having this trike would make such a difference to the families life’s. Ivy-rose is confined to her chair, and this trike would allow her to have bike races with her brother and enjoy family bike rides.

Just like any child, Ivy-Rose deserves the same opportunities. Nothing should stop that.

We are aiming to sell tickets at £5 per ticket. ALL MONIES RAISED WILL BE DONATED TO IVY-ROSE AND HER FAMILY TO BE ABLE TO PURCHASE THE SPECIALIST TRIKE.
