Future Artists are running a one off ONLINE Workshop on Arts Council Grants - attend LIVE or watch ON-DEMAND Recording after - Wednesday 30th Sept 7pm GMT / UK (1.5hr)

Arts Council England (ACE) are the UKs biggest provider of grants for the arts in the UK - but getting a grant is highly competitive.

Whether you're a new entrant or a seasoned producer, navigating the competitive world of ACE funding can be challenging. This session is designed to demystify the process, debunk common myths, and arm you with the strategies needed to craft a standout application.

Led by Jessica Cheetham, a renowned theatre producer and founder of Spun Glass Theatre (and Future Artists Bid Writer), this workshop will provide a detailed walkthrough of the ACE Project Grants application process, with a focus on the under 30k funds. Learn exactly what ACE is looking for in each section and gain invaluable tips to highlight your project's unique potential (Jess has won us 4 of these grants so far!). With recent updates to the application process - including digital arts and ACE strategic review (Sept 2026), you’ll also receive the most up-to-date guidance, as Jess has been briefed by ACE.

AI Social Club 6: The Simulation of Truth - You are invited to a free online event - AI is changing film, TV, social media, storytelling and the way audiences understand truth.

But nothing is inevitable.

This is our 6th edition of AI Social Club, and the first after our SOLD OUT In-person symposium in Manchester in March.

At AI Social Club by Future Artists we believe creative artists must be at the centre of the AI conversation. AI should be understood as a co-creation tool, not a replacement for human imagination, judgement or lived experience.

Taking place in Falmouth (Poly 12th June) and Penzance (15th June), this free 4-hour workshop invites participants (10 per session) to respond creatively to the digital world we now live inside — and the terms we accept without fully understanding.

Led by Kitty McEwan — also known as — a UK-based illustrator, comic artist and zinester, the session will use collage, comics, illustration, poetry, writing, cut-up text, digital tools and DIY publishing methods to help participants create original zine work connected to Terms & Conditions by Future Artists.

This is not just a workshop. It is a chance to make new work in a supportive creative environment, meet other local creators, and contribute to a wider independent publication project.
