❤️ THE SACRIFICES WE DON’T ALWAYS SEE…

Back then, it was early mornings, heavy work, tired hands and long days away from home.

Today, the work may look different — commutes, laptops, endless emails and phones that keep buzzing after the working day. 💻📱

Different generations. Different pressures.

But for so many people, the reason remains the same…

To give their family a better life. ❤️

👇 What sacrifices did your parents make for your family?

❤️LOVE IN BRITAIN… THEN vs NOW

Back then, there were no dating apps, no “seen” messages and no checking someone’s profile before meeting them.

You waited for the call. ☎️
You arranged a place and time.
You showed up.
And you actually talked for hours. ❤️

Today, love can begin with a swipe, a message or a follow. 📱

The way we meet has changed… but has the feeling of falling in love really changed?

👇 Which do you prefer — old-fashioned love or modern love?

Imagine standing in one place that has witnessed nearly 1,000 years of history.

The Tower of London has been far more than a castle. Across the centuries, it has served as a fortress, royal residence, prison, armoury and treasury — while generations of London changed around it.

Kings and queens came and went. The city grew. The world changed.

Yet these ancient walls are still standing beside the Thames today.

If these walls could speak, what stories would they tell?

Follow our explorer as we uncover the incredible history hidden across Britain.

A father doesn’t always say “I love you.”

Sometimes he says it by waking up early, working when he’s exhausted, fixing the little things, waiting outside school, and quietly making sure his children have what they need.

When we’re young, we see what Dad gives us.

When we grow older, we begin to understand what it may have cost him.

Some of the deepest love is never spoken. It’s shown through a lifetime of little sacrifices.

If your dad did this for you, maybe today is a good day to tell him you noticed.

🇬🇧 SATURDAYS IN BRITAIN… THEN vs NOW ❤️

Remember when Saturday meant waking up, grabbing your bike and knocking on your mate’s door? 🚲⚽

No messages saying “Are you coming out?”
You just turned up. 😂

Football in the street, bikes left outside, mates everywhere… and the only deadline was getting home before it got dark.

Fast forward to today — Saturdays look a little different. 📱🎮

The world changed. Childhood changed. But those memories stayed with us. ❤️

👇 What did YOUR Saturdays look like growing up in Britain?

Nearly 2,000 years ago, Britain looked very different.

Roman roads stretched across the landscape. Towns developed around impressive infrastructure. Public baths used sophisticated heating systems beneath their floors. And in AD 122, construction began on Hadrian’s Wall.

Some traces of that world are still standing today.

Walk through the ruins and you’re not just looking at stones — you’re looking at pieces of a society that lived here almost two millennia ago.

Britain has thousands of years of history beneath our feet.

What should our explorer uncover next?

BRITAIN: 1986 vs 2026

Imagine travelling 40 years into the future and arriving on the exact same British street.

In 1986, there were telephone boxes, cassette players, paper maps and no smartphones.

In 2026, one small device can be your camera, map, music player, newspaper and connection to the world.

Forty years changed the technology, the streets and the way we communicate.

But family, friendship and love? Maybe some things never really change.

If you could travel through time, which would you visit — 1986 or 2026?

A generation that experienced a Britain very different from the one we know today.

Rationing, blackouts, evacuation and separation became part of everyday life for millions during the Second World War.

For many families, ordinary routines disappeared almost overnight. Children were separated from home, parents lived with uncertainty, and communities adapted to circumstances most of us have only read about.

More than 80 years later, their experiences remain part of Britain’s history.

Lest we forget.

When a baby tries to explain Britain THEN vs NOW...

Back then: bikes, football in the street and knocking on your mate’s door.

Now: phones, tablets, gaming and somehow… “I’m bored!”

He wasn’t even there, but apparently he’s got opinions.

Which childhood would you choose — THEN or NOW?
