After our recent poll where the majority of people said they were trying to be active but weren’t meeting the recommended amounts per week, we’ve come up with a few ways that could help….
🏋️A gym work out is a great way to combine cardiovascular fitness and strength training. This can be a workout at home or in a gym space. If you need advice on programs or how to exercise with an injury then we can help!
💻 Online or app workouts are a great place to start. There are a huge variety available. We are a fan of who has a HUGE amount of free online workouts. They start from low intensity/seated workouts to advanced HIIT sessions. Even if you can’t complete a whole session start with a few minutes and build up. We also recommend some of these to our patients with a neurological condition.
🏃🏼♀️Joining a local run club is a way of diarising a session to help keep you accountable and exercising with like minded people. We have a few in our local area but HUGE shout out to who have been super supportive of our new business. Thank you 🤩 uk is a free female only club on a Tuesday run by great no matter your level.
🏉 joining a sports club is another great way to get moving. A great way to move and meet other people. Shout out to .rfc where we have helped some players pre-season.
