RA Rockets U11s🚀
RA Rockets vs FC Hartlepool Rockets

Tough to take for our Rockets on Sunday, we took our heaviest defeat for some time against a strong and well organised team. We conceded sloppy goals which is very unlike us, but the determination to never give in and the effort we showed was testament to the attitude of our group.

Player of the week Olly 🏆
For his brilliant game intelligence and awareness of when to attack or when to track back.

Opposition MoM Ossie🏆
For getting stuck in and trying to drive the team forward.

Coaches POM Sofia 🏆For great feet in tight situations and doing well to retain possession, even when under pressure.

Goal scorers
Kieron ⚽️

The team were disappointed but it’s about getting our heads up and going into next weeks game positively.

The RA Rockets U13 made their debut in the County Cup today, it was the first time the lads have played in this cup and it was exciting taking to the field without knowing much about the opposition. The boys started well and had plenty of attacks and chances at goal. Burnmoor then grew into the game, they were a good, organised side with some great players. The game was finely balanced until Victor broke the deadlock with an excellent run and finish, in off the post. He added a second just a minute later after a great pass from Logan. The second half continued in the same fashion, with both teams creating chances. Victor completed his hattrick midway through the second half after some great play with Jacob Prince. Burnmoor scored themselves late on but the RA Rockets held on to claim the victory and put themselves in the next round of the cup. It was a great game of football, strongly contested by two good sides who both played the ball really well!

Coaches Player of the Match - Hayden Fraser for a solid display at left back against a very good right winger, thwarting Burnmoor attacks and getting the ball forward whenever he could.
Opposition Player of the Match - Victor Chesterton for an excellent performance, scoring three goals and also putting in a solid shift - pressing, running and attacking the Burnmoor goal, putting the defenders under constant pressure.

Goals - Victor x3
Assists -Jacob Prince & Logan

⚽️ U12 ROCKETS v REDCAR TOWN WHITES 🔴⚫️

A tough morning for our U12 Rockets, with injuries and unavailability leaving the boys and girls with a bare-bones squad, we had to play players out of position.

Redcar started quickly and went 4-0 up at half-time, but the Rockets never dropped their heads throughout the game. At half-time they were challenged to go and win the second half — and they did exactly that! 💪

The second half they pushed to get back into the game and were rewarded for their efforts with two fantastic well worked team goals.

The first saw Travis score with an effort that hit the top bins followed by Josh getting on the scoresheet after another flowing move that saw some excellent football by the Rockets. They continuing to push throughout the second half with renewed belief creating further chances, including hitting the crossbar and having efforts cleared off the line.

Redcar unfortunately added a fifth late on, but that couldn’t take away from an outstanding second-half performance by the boys and girls. ❤️🖤

👏 PLAYER OF THE MATCH – ANAS 🧤

Anas stepped up to play in goal and produced a fantastic performance, making several important saves and showing a brilliant attitude throughout.

⭐️ Player of the Week too!

So proud of all the boys and girls today. The result didn’t go our way, but the character, effort and football in that second half were outstanding.

Keep working hard — the results will come! A massive thank you to our 2026/27 sponsors❤️🖤:

Tornadoes Edge Closer in Seven-Goal Thriller Against Guisborough Whites.

Tornadoes 3 - 4 Guisborough. The RA Tornadoes showed Guisborough that they meant business today in an absolute thriller of a football match. While the final scoreline ended 4-3 to the visitors, the Tornadoes played their hearts out, pushing an evenly matched Guisborough side to the absolute limit in a game that was exciting from the first whistle to the last.

Resilience Against the Odds
It was a gritty, high-intensity performance from the lads. The Tornadoes had to battle not just a tough opposition, but also a string of frustrating moments, including a couple of missed offside flags where crucial decisions simply didn't go in their favour. Despite the setbacks, the team refused give up and focussed on the next job. They showed immense resilience and teamwork, fighting back to score three spectacular goals. The finishing came courtesy of Oliver B, Sean, and Dexter, who all found the back of the net with superb strikes. They were set up beautifully by Harry and Max, whose creative assists carved open the Guisborough defence.

Standout Performers
At the other end of the pitch, Tornadoes goalkeeper Aiden was in sensational form. He pulled off a series of beautiful, crucial saves to keep his side within touching distance throughout the match.

The afternoon, however, belonged to Tyler, who put on a masterclass of a performance. Affectionately known as "The Bull" by his teammates, Tyler proved exactly why he is feared by opponents; when his head goes down and he drives forward, the other team needs to watch out. His dominant display caught everyone's eye, rightfully earning him a clean sweep as both the Opposition Player of the Match and the Referee’s Player of the Match.

Final Verdict
Though the result didn't quite reflect the Tornadoes' immense effort, the match proved that this squad has the talent, the heart, and the unity to take on anyone.

Parents and coaches alike are incredibly proud of the teamwork and character the lads displayed today.

Watch out—the Tornadoes are fired up and ready for the next challenge!

Under 7 Rockets Match report 27.09.26

Today the lads blew me and Lucas away with the way they played. The passing and moving they completed was amazing and the finishing topped it off. The amount of goals scored was fantastic and the amount of missed chances was even higher.

Congratulations to our man of the match Adavait for his outstanding performance and his brilliant contribution to the team today, scoring a hat trick and assisting many others.

The opposition were blown away with the amount of pressure we were putting on them, unable to cope with Odin and Bradley’s shots.

Doesn’t stop there as we conceded none (if i remember correctly) due to Ruben’s amazing defending and strength.

All in all, an amazing performance from all the lads and roll on next week.
