Zimbabwean activist Brett MuVet has made allegations that he is being targeted because of his criticism of President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s government.
In a recent statement, MuVet claimed that a US$15 million bounty had been placed on him. He did not indicate that he would stop his activism, saying he remains committed to advocating for political change.
MuVet is associated with the Varanda VeZimbabwe (VVZ) movement, which has called for political reforms, greater accountability and improved living conditions.
