Message for Free view users experiencing sudden reception issues

High pressure currently affecting TV & Radio services across parts of the UK - 14th January onwards.

High pressure and fronts
We are aware of some high pressure currently affecting parts of the UK, this is likely to continue until the weekend.

Viewers and listeners across England and Scotland may experience periods of interference affecting reception of television and radio services which will continue into the weekend. This will affect most parts of the UK.

These weather conditions can move and change, which makes it difficult to know where it will hit next. If your television picture starts to break up without warning this could be the cause of the problem.

You can check if the problem is impacting your local transmitter using the transmitter checker tool. If there are no faults displayed it is possible the problem is impacting your radio or television system directly.

NOTE: At these times, there is nothing you can do but wait until the weather changes. You should not re-tune your television or radio when this happens

As we say goodbye to 2024, a year that marked our 65th year in business, we reflect on the journey that began in 1959. Founded by Ronald Humphrey, passed to his son Ray, and now proudly run by his grandson Mat, our family business remains Coventry’s longest-established aerial services provider.
