Hyperborean Tales is a blistering 4 song EP featuring two of modern surf’s underground musical heroes stepping outside of all bounds of genre to bring a crushingly heavy aesthetic to the ever evolving SHARP sound - The Surf Hermits and The Angry Red Planet. Rodd’s incendiary fretboard shred combines with Jason’s melodic twang to carry SHARP to new heights on top of the usual intense momentum of Jason’s drumming and the combined bass playing of both musicians. Traditional surf fans, beware! This EP has more distortion than Dick Dale’s strat had sparkles.
