Why does a cake cost so much?.... Here is a breakdown!

Unfortunately it isn't 'just a bit of flour and eggs' ... I wish it were!

This is based on a 6 inch (15 portion) cake and 3.5 hours work.

Remember you are buying a professional custom made high quality product. You're buying from a fully registered and insured 5 star kitchen. You're paying for 14 years of knowledge and experience to create something for a special occasion.

And often I still quote less than what I've worked out here, and often work longer than 3.5 hours.
