This is what I would do if I was to start my socials from scratch🧃

I get asked this a lot so here are my tips to get yourself started on social media…

☁️ Start by just scrolling and form an understanding of the type of content that is engaging and encourages conversation
☁️ Now you know what content does well in general, find leaders within your niche and see how they do it, investigate what the community is talking about in the comments
☁️ Try every single type of content you can, give yourself 30 days for pure exploration
☁️ Then see what type of content you enjoyed creating and what type of content your audience found valuable… AND MAKE MORE OF IT

Remember to create the content you love, otherwise it’s just pointless

〰️ MEDIA KIT SHOWCASE 〰️

Juliet from .weddingcoach needed a quality document to present to potential clients to showcase her services and recent book launch. After working with several designers, she’d struggled to find anyone who could capture what she was after.

Our ideas aligned and we managed to come up with a design we both loved fairly quickly! The content was mainly text, so the challenge was to present it in an inviting way and the final design is just beautiful🌞

〰️ 3 tips to boost your SEO 〰️

1. Name your images with descriptive titles
This is how you can help Google recognise and accurately index your photos, have them appear in image searches and improve the accessibility of your website.

2. Internal links
Directing your visitors through your site using internal links is not only great for the user experience, it also keeps visitors on your website for longer which tells Google you’ve got quality content in relation to their search term.

3. Utilise your footers
Your footers appear on each page of your website, so this is the perfect place to add a keyword rich description, contact details, location and important links and info.

I’m going to need all the caffeine I can get today! Anyone else?

Firstly, I’ve got designs to send off to two clients ready for feedback (exciting). Tomorrow I’m off to London for a few days so I have to make sure my laptop is up to date with client files and ready to go, as well as pack my own bits. I also want to plan some content for the week so it’s one less thing to think about, but we’ll have to see about that one.
