I was invited to stay at Y Nyth (The Nest), a new shepherd’s hut at Glamping at Lower Monkton in the Vale of Glamorgan — and it truly lived up to its name. From rescued donkeys to rolling hills, a hamper full of Welsh treats, and the cosiest bed I’ve ever slept in, it was the perfect blend of comfort and nature, and right here on the doorstep for a quick getaway.
