Their venues aren’t just the backdrop for student life, they also host conferences, meetings and public events, so the Events team needed a distinctive brand that would stand out in a competitive market, while staying true to the Swansea University identity. After months of soul-searching (and toast tasting), we’ve decided it’s time for a fresh start. So from today, jamjar will officially be known as… 🍊 marmalade 🍊

Chunkier ideas. Tangier campaigns. An extra bit of bite.

Why the change?
👉 It’s zestier.
👉 It’s more spreadable.
👉 And frankly, we just wanted a reason to update our brand colours to a juicier orange.

Today, on International Day of Forests, we're looking back on our work with National Forest for Wales.

At jamjar, we had the privilege of developing the brand identity for this ambitious project—an initiative that envisions a connected ecosystem of ancient and new woodlands stretching across the country.

We crafted a bilingual brand that truly speaks to the people of Wales, incorporating public and stakeholder insights to create a sense of shared ownership. The final logo represents the outline of Wales, formed by leaves from Welsh forests, symbolising connectivity, biodiversity, and community.

The National Forest for Wales isn’t just about trees—it’s about people, nature, and a greener future for all. We’re proud to have played a part in bringing this vision to life.

If you had lifted the lid on jamjar back in 2012, you’d have found our MD Lyndsey bubbling away concocting our recipe for success. After years of working in PR, she’d become tired of the traditional press release treadmill and wanted to create a communications agency with creativity at its core.

jamjar was born to tickle the taste buds of those who wanted to try something different. Since then the communications world has changed considerably and our services have evolved to reflect this, and the requirements of our clients. Still with creativity at our core, we deliver a range of communication solutions that excite, engage and create tangible results for our clients.
