๐ฅฐ Firstly, a big thank you to each and every person who took the time to vote for me and show your support - I am truly grateful.
๐ต On this occasion, I was unsuccessful. I achieved 2201 votes, which is 8.1% of the vote share. For full results, please visit the comment section.
โ So what now? Well, nothing changes, I remain a Councillor for the Cowdenbeath Ward and will continue in post until the local elections next May.
โก๏ธ At this stage, I cannot confirm if I will stand once again. However, what I can say is that I will continue to be a committed local representative and strong community champion for the remainder of this term.
๐ While I cannot promise to achieve desired outcomes, I can promise to continue to work tirelessly to support and assist residents, community groups, charities, and businesses, and to do everything I can to resolve local issues and concerns.
๐ Finally, congratulations to David Barratt on being duly elected as the member of the Scottish Parliament for the Cowdenbeath Constituency. I look forward to a positive and productive working relationship.
๐ Thank you all once again for your trust and ongoing support.
