We spent a beautiful morning at Penshurst Place on Monday; finalising layouts and finishing touches for our September Pop-Up Shopping Event 🛍️…. it’s all coming together, and we can’t wait to welcome you! 🤗

Afterwards, we popped into The Spotted Dog; a much-loved, dog-friendly pub nestled in the heart of Penshurst. Steeped in 15th-century charm, with stunning views and utterly delicious food, it was the perfect end to a productive morning.

Introducing our brand new supplement, celebrating the finest local flavours of the South East! 🌿🍷

In this edition, Charlotte Butterworth aka .greedy, shares a stunning summer menu using the best seasonal produce our region has to offer; think:

Wealden Times’ Vivien and Sarah were back at beautiful today for the grand reopening of the beloved Toy Museum, celebrating its 55th anniversary! 🧸

Thanks to a £100,000 grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, the museum has been redesigned and refreshed, with treasured exhibits lovingly restored.

Now featuring four interactive zones; Dolls & Bears, Games & Pastimes, Building Blocks, and World of Imagination…. the museum offers fun, learning, and nostalgia for all ages.

A 3-day Summer festival including performances from International rock legends the Van Morrison Alumni Band, TVs Jay Rayner, BBC Broadcaster and piano aficionado Neil Brand and a night of 1920s silent film, ‘Jazz Sunday’ with Joe Stilgoe and The Entertainers.
