WOW…… what a night!

WT’s Lucy and her husband, jumped at the opportunity to spend an evening for an exclusive one-off seven-course dinner in collaboration with . 😋

The specially designed menu was devised by chef Robin Read to celebrate the botanicals used in Hepple’s artisan Gin and Vodka - think Douglas fir, bog myrtle, lovage and blackcurrant leaves, sourced from the Northumbrian landscape - which we enjoyed blended into exceptionally delicious cocktails.

Thank you to Hepple’s, Luke Comer, for sharing his knowledge and infectious enthusiasm. ☺️

The dishes, expertly presented by Robin and his team, were divine; the freshest monkfish, cod and meltingly flavourful locally-sourced venison... and personal touches added by Robin to each dish; apples picked from his mother’s garden, and ceps foraged whilst out on a dog walk, added to the special atmosphere.

This independent shop and gallery is full of treasures… from local artwork, ceramics, bronze and sculpture to beautiful books and gifts sourced from talented makers across Sussex and Kent.

An Evening of Mayhem and Murder at St. Trinian’s in a Murder Mystery and Dinner Event at Penshurst Place….🧐
