This is a bit of a sneak preview of the headboard I recovered for my sister

I was half way through editing the video and the ASMR of stripping the old frame was way too good not to share beforehand.
I think the ‘before’ will be a bit of a love/hate design but hopefully the after is a love love love 🥰
The frame was very unique and we nearly kept the shape but then we found the most perfect kantha quilt that fit the EMPEROR sized bed frame perfectly and it seemed more of a shame to cut up the quilt. The main thing we loved was the mother of pearl shell inner, but I managed to keep it in tact and Tash will display it as a piece of art in the bedroom instead.

It feels so surreal to finally have it out, it’s a project I am really proud of and excited about.
I cannot wait to see all your footstools.. there will be so many cool fabric and leg combinations and I want to see them all!
