Sadly, we lost the boss this morning, always on hand to help me set up my gear, advice was given when required, and we always had a great laugh at the Xmas fairs broadcasting our radio shows!! Remembering Noriyuki "Pat" Morita (June 28, 1932 – November 24, 2005)
He was an American actor and comedian. He began his career as a stand-up comedian, before becoming known to television audiences for his recurring role as diner owner Matsuo "Arnold" Takahashi on the sitcom series Happy Days (1975-83). He was subsequently nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of martial arts mentor Mr. Miyagi in The Karate Kid (1984), which would be the first of a media franchise in which Morita was the central player.

Just heard that David Harris passed away a few days ago, he was a lovely guy, famous for playing Cochise in the legendary movie The Warriors (1979). Logan Evanson and myself had the pleasure of meeting him 7years ago, he was funny and we spoke to him for a good 10-20mins. RIP bopper 😢

Watched the newest remake yesterday! I didn’t have high hopes for this. Being a massive fan of the 1994 original. But I was pleasantly surprised at this. A slow starter, it had some pretty good action sequences, pretty brutal in places too!! Good graphics, and was very similar to the James Barr graphic novel which I’ve owned for a long time. I’m still trying not to compare it like most of us do, buts it’s hard not to!! But overall, it wasn’t too bad, I’ll give this a score of 7/10
