Yesterday, we had the pleasure of serving a wonderfully brave lady who had navigated the trials and tribulations of chemotherapy over the last 5 years.

After hair loss, illness, huge bodily changes, and emotional hardships, she was finally at the point where she could see an end to it all. The light at the end of the tunnel.

Yesterday was the day to feel feminine again. So a trip to a very well-known store was made. No more surgical bras and no more feeling frumpy in hand-me-downs. Or so she thought...

After discovering that an appointment was needed (one was not made) and an emotional exit of that very well-known high street store, she came to us.

Tears were shed. Relief and happiness arrived.

This wonderful soul could not have been more grateful for the time and attention that she experienced in our boutique. More tears!

At the time, it was just lovely to know that we'd helped someone feel like themselves again. But on reflection, good grief! What in the world is going on???

So take this in. Small businesses are the backbone of this country. We listen, we pay attention, and we care.
Without knowledgeable and caring establishments like ours, this story could have ended very differently.

ONE YEAR 🎉 of Nantwich Gin and Quality Spirits in the Cocoa Yard! 🥂🤯 (Can you believe it?!)

We opened back in 2024 on a chilly Thursday in October (the 16th) as a pop-up shop for Christmas.

YOU, Nantwich, showed your wonderful support 🫶🏼 and in January of this year, we decided to keep going. So come and celebrate with us on Saturday 18th in the shop. 🥰 We’ll be open from 10am.

🎉 What a night at the Nantwich Food Awards!

🏆 The winners were crowned at a glittering ceremony on Friday 10th October at the Nantwich Civic Hall. Sponsored by One Sip At A Time, the event celebrated the amazing food and drink businesses that make our area so special — and gave us the chance to thank all the fantastic volunteers, sponsors, and supporters who make it happen.

✨ Whitegates were absolutely thrilled to be part of it all! There were lots of mentions of SnowWhitegates and our stall — definitely a great talking point (not that Charlotte ever needs help starting a conversation! 😉).
