Where did the Elephants go?

This mammoth fossil was found on west Runton beach in Norfolk. The same beach where famously, the most complete skeleton ever of a Steppe mammoth was uncovered in 1990.

I’ve always loved imagining the creatures of the past, and there’s nothing that beats the awe inspired by a mammoth. There’s something so wonderfully tangible about them

Wild garlic foraging with my Dad. This is now the pertect time ot year to tind wild garlic in the woodland. It's easily my favourite thing to forage - and you can do so much with it! I personally love to make a pesto and also the best wild garlic chicken Kiev you'll ever have. Please forage sustainably and carefully.
Spending time with my dad is undeniably nice, but I do tend to get quite tired of the constant pond based conversation!
