You will likely have seen our post about our permanent closure. We wanted to say thank you to everyone who has sent us their best wishes - it means so much to us!

While sorting through a few bits, I came across these which I painted to decorate the space. Back then they were just stone-related puns but isn’t it funny how much they resonate now?!

“Be a Little Boulder” – We have been bold in starting a business and we’ll continue to be bold in whatever venture we enter into next. We still want to run a business and our boldness will see that we do!

“Nothing is Written in Stone” – I expect all those core things we took for granted have been knocked by Covid for all of us. It has made me appreciate the important things in life and has given me an extra dose of perspective. It is also a phrase with positive connotations of opportunity and the unexpected – that page is bare for us to write on!

These stones are coming home with us!

We are a people gathering business in a world where people can't gather. We have been waiting for a time when people are able to use our shared space confidently but sadly we can't wait any longer and are having to permanently close.

We're gutted and those that know us will know just how much work we have put into our business. We have learnt so much and I'm sure this won't be the last you hear of us! We are thinking positive and counting our many blessings.

Thank you to all of you who've supported us on our journey and thank you for your interest in our little business. It means A LOT!!

We are not the only small business struggling out there right now. So please look out for them and support them where you can.

We have enjoyed some time off over Christmas baking together, exploring in the forest and jumping in muddy puddles!

'Happy New Year' right now doesn't feel quite right but a lot of the messages I've seen have at least been of hope if they can't be of happiness. So a hopeful, healthy new year to all our followers.

Well, it's not the Christmas we were all hoping for but we are thankful for the many wonderful people in our lives even though we can't be with them all today. Our little monkeys have really kept us going through all of this and we were pleased to enjoy the great excitement this morning when we found that Father Christmas had been!

We'll be a little quiet on socials over the coming weeks as we take a little time off to be together with our little family.

Day 24 - AdasGold Photography. If you are STILL looking for that perfect gift, how about the promise of some time together and photos to treasure it with - I reckon anyone would be super chuffed with that right now!

As Adas moved to the UK a decade ago, this is only her 10th Christmas! Her favourite thing is "the excitement & magic it brings out of my kids; the snuggle time as family & hours spent together building LEGO sets (a family tradition)"

Jane's favourite thing about Christmas is "the whole family around the table enjoying a completely home cooked Christmas dinner and fizz followed by a traditional game of 'Chase the Ace'!"

Day 22 - Alteus Wines. Al and Teresa have loads of gifty bits in the shop for all you last minute shoppers! Anything from gin sets to local ales or Christmas fizz.

Their favourite thing about Christmas "is going to the pub for a lunchtime drink. Knowing we can't do that this year, we will rug up and take a bottle of fizz across to the Forest and have a glass in the sunshine!" Cheers!!

Day 21 - Beautybox Crowborough. If you're still struggling for a Christmas present, how about a voucher for some beautiful nails!

Katie's favourite thing about Christmas "in normal times 😂 it would have to be seeing my children getting so excited in the run up to Christmas and then seeing their faces when they realise Santa has delivered all their presents! And then spending time with our family but sadly for most that can't happen this year"

Day 20 - Ooh Art. This due have some lovely pieces in their Etsy shop - from abstract prints and cushions to bright and colourful landscapes.

Carol and Andy's Favourite thing about Christmas is that "it allows people to go crazy with colour and over the top decorations and Christmas wear, which they might not at other times, bringing smiles to young and old alike. Christmas allows us to express our inner elf!"

Day 18 - Wickle. This Lewes based shop has some lovely stocking fillers! They can no longer guarantee delivery in time for Christmas but if you're local, arrange a pick up! Check out my video later today and I'll show you a few of their things that I bought for my little ones' stockings.

Paul is Mr Christmas and his most favourite thing is decorating the tree: "it was 1500 fairy lights on our tree in the sitting room last year. Never enough!"
