Before and after photos of a barn conversion with very poor reception! We were called out to a job in a very difficult signal area near Tiverton where a TV aerial was installed by the electrician during the build, signal was very poor from the existing aerial and way too fragile for the winds expected in that area. Fitted a new log periodic aerial for Huntshaw Cross transmitter, end result was a very good signal.

Last weeks Starlink installation on a rural property, no fibre available and their BT broadband was 4mbps, Starlink what a game changer - 370mbps! Going back soon to install their point to point link to feed other properties on site.

Getting reports of lots of aerials and dishes having come down in the area due to Storm Darragh, if you need a call out don't hesitate to call and I will endeavour to fit you in asap!

Please note the Croyde and Caradon Hill transmitters are still having issues since the storms, pixellation, mainly on ITV,Ch4,Ch5 channels. BBC and HD (101-105) channels don't seem to be affected but may be subject to outages as the ITV pixellation issue is resolved.

Currently there are reports of no Freeview reception from the Croyde TV relay transmitter and outages also on mobile phones in the area. Customers on Caradon hill and Huntshaw transmitters (Georgeham etc) shouldn’t be affected.

As some of you may be aware, the internet isn’t great in Croyde and seeing as pretty much everything runs off it here, you can imagine how many issues it’s caused.
Well, fingers crossed 🤞🏻 not anymore! Thanks to Elon or rather James Croyde Aerials we can now confidently invite you all to the cafe for your ‘work from home’ coffee fix 💻☕️☺️

Customers using the Huntshaw Cross transmitter and Ilfracombe relay transmitters - there are reports of intermittent outages and pixellation this morning and this week. The information on the freeview website shows it should be rectified by the weekend.

TV signal problems?
Due to a problem caused by atmospheric pressure or tropospheric ducting to be exact, many of you will be experiencing problems with your tv picture if you use Freeview digital tv through an aerial. Sky or Virgin users will NOT be affected. This problem is due to correct itself by Wednesday and I advise you not to retune your TVs as this will ultimately result in you losing your channels further, just stick with it and all should return to its original state. If problems persist then please get in touch so I can at least test the quality of your current installation or discuss your other options with you. Many thanks
