Today’s episode I am joined by Steve Varsano – CEO and Founder of The Jet Business / Based in London. If ever an unorthodox idea was moved from paper to reality it was the aircraft showroom concept in London that Steve has introduced – the only one in the world! A man who knows what is necessary to deliver success and is outspoken as to why success should be celebrated. I fully support his principles and if people looked more at success and how others gain as a result of innovative entrepreneurs who bring lifestyles to others, maybe there would be more positive press than negative. From sweeping up hair and jobs to pay for flying lessons to selling his first aircraft in his early twenties – Steve is a smart man in so many ways and knows the value of listening to others and learning.

Today’s episode I am joined by Guillaume Halleux – Chief Officer Cargo / Qatar Airways. Another passionate man who accepts that very few of us ever sat in a classroom and said to ourselves — ‘All I want to do is get into Cargo’. However, once we realise what a great industry we have. The world is a village and Cargo is a Main Street! Passion and Pride are clear, confidence in products and services is obvious. Guillaume is an easy man to listen to and speaks with a direct and respectful frankness about the needs and opportunities ahead of us. The Charter success story reflecting the highs of saving lives as well as the business/industry damage of bleeding money and the harsh realities of necessary actions.

Both characters in their own right and very open and positive approaches to the need for clear and precise communication, cooperation, coordination and collaboration. Positive signs are appearing and now more than ever consumers need confidence and good common sense. Interesting opportunity for hygiene to influence the long-standing conundrum of ‘paperless’ capability/desire or at least realistically reduced paper steps in Cargo.

From New Normal to Next Positive! This Saturday with Steven, we continue on the topic of simple logical & tactical positive steps towards a solid structure of ‘doing’ more and talking less.
Give clear guidelines, simple safe information, and think of the recipient. – form groups of consistency – support ’employee casualties’ and let us make positive steps forward for the right and obvious reasons..
Paperless platforms possibilities now have a new energy and supportive enabling drivers to make the positive steps forward that are necessary. Maybe Hygiene and standards will be the catalyst..
Some questions from listeners and of course the Domestic tip of the week — in fact there are two this week!
