Changes for tonight. Indoors due to the ☔️
STREET FESTIVAL UPDATE – We’ve got a plan!
🌟 Cuckfield Christmas Street Festival 2025 will be re-locating to Queen’s Hall 🎄
TODAY – Friday 5 December – 17:30 – 21:00
We have been closely monitoring the weather forecast for tonight’s Christmas Street Festival, and wind gusts of 40+ mph and heavy rain are being consistently forecast. Whilst we have plans in place for the rain, wind gusts of that speed would be dangerous with lots of temporary shelters and gazebos on the High Street – and safety has to be our priority.
The event WILL still take place with most of our original stallholders inside Queens Hall, along with live music from the Ariel Choirs, Mid Sussex Brass Band, and our talented musicians and dancers – PLUS walkabout Christmas Characters, Santa's Grotto, a selection of delicious food and drink, and more.
We’re delighted to be able to continue with the event and hope to see plenty of people throughout the evening! In addition, the Indoor Gift and Craft Market at The Old School will still be taking place, and the Christmas Tree Festival at Holy Trinity Church will be open until 19:30.
Our original road closure on the High Street/South Street (B2036) and Church Street will remain in effect in order to provide safer walking routes between all three festive events throughout the evening. Parking suspensions will also be enforced from 2PM.
We look forward to seeing you at Queen’s Hall this evening! 🎅🏻🎁
