Hey Everyone and besties
You may remember a little while ago, we (Del and Kate) signed up to take part in the Shine Night Walk for Cancer Reseach on the 26th September.
We've both had a super busy summer both personally and professionally, so we've left it a lot later than planned to ask for your support and if you are able to do so to give us a little sponsor pleeeeeease!
This is something that is super important to us both for many different reasons...
Del is walking for her Grandma, Phyllis, who was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in March and since then has smashed chemotherapy treatment, causing her tumour to shrink, but is still going through treatment and bravely fighting each day.
Kate is walking for her Mum, Bev, who kicked womb cancers arse 6 years ago (with the most flare and glam possible), as well as her Grandma, Enid, who lost her incredible fight against ovarian cancer nearly 11 years ago, and her wonderful Great Grandma, Ev, who was taken by breast cancer when Kate was six years old.
We also, cannot forget the most amazing man, Ralph, our Lauren's Grandad, who we sadly lost to Gallbladder cancer this summer.
The walk consists of us making our way around a 10k route in Cardiff at night time, in some very questionable outfits, with lots of caffeine on hand! We promise to keep you updated throughout (stand by to have to come and drag us out of a few bushes).
