LOVE FOR JESUS IS PROVEN BY OBEDIENCE
“If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word.”
John 14:23
Obedience.
Love is not measured by words alone. Action.
Love is measured by obedience.
You cannot separate:
Loving Jesus
From obeying His Word
Obedience is the evidence that love is real.
YOU CANNOT LOVE GOD AND REJECT JESUS
“Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father.”
1 John 2:23
Jesus is not optional.
He is not one of many paths.
He is the only way to the Father.
Any faith that removes Jesus removes God Himself.
LOVING JESUS DISTINGUISHES TRUE BELIEVERS
“Grace be with all who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity.”
Ephesians 6:24
The mark of true Christianity is not popularity, power, or performance.
The mark is sincere love for Jesus Christ.
When we love Him:
We stand for truth without compromise
We endure persecution without bitterness
We preach the Gospel without apology
WHY THE WORLD MISUNDERSTANDS OUR LOVE
FOR HIM
Jesus said:
“If the world hates you, know that it hated Me before it hated you.”
John 15:18
The world often calls conviction “hatred.”
But loving Jesus means:
Refusing sin
Standing on truth
Exalting Christ above culture
This is not hatred—it is faithfulness.
We do not hate Christ.
We love Him.
We love Him:
Because He first loved us
Because He died for us
Because He rose again
Because He is Lord
“If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed.”
1 Corinthians 16:22
Loving him should the best decision of your existence.
And it cost you nothing but for him, he has to lay down his life for us to be Saved because he has power over death.
