πŸš€ Copeland Group Services invests six figures in AI-powered operations platform

Copeland Group Services has announced a six-figure investment in technology as it targets doubling the size of the business over the next three years.

Developed by its in-house division, TrakNet Technologies, the new platform supports everything from CCTV monitoring and access control to workforce management and business intelligence across the group's UK and international operations.

At the heart of the system is T.A.L.I.U.M. (Tactical, Adaptive, Logical, Intelligent, Unified Manager) – a voice-activated AI assistant that allows staff to access operational, financial, workforce and vehicle tracking data simply by asking a question.

Commenting on the investment, CEO Kyle Disley said the platform has been built specifically around Copeland's operational needs, helping improve efficiency, support growth and futureproof the business as it continues to expand.

πŸšͺThe weak point in access control?

Installing the latest access control system is only part of the security equation. As Josh Mullock, Director of Mullock's Locks , explains, even the most advanced electronic security solution still relies on one fundamental component – the door itself.

From worn frames and poorly adjusted closers to locks that aren't suited to the level of risk, weaknesses in the physical door assembly can undermine an otherwise sophisticated access control system.

In the latest PSi guest article, Josh explores why physical door security should never be overlooked and why electronic security works best when it's built on a strong physical foundation.
