Seven years ago, MMFN photographed Sylwia Doligala fighting at Queens Hall in Derby.

On 5 September, she steps onto a completely different stage — Croke Park in Dublin, against Molly McCann, on Katie Taylor’s farewell card, in front of a crowd expected to reach around 80,000 people.

For a Polish-born female boxer, this is a remarkable moment and one that deserves far more attention than it has received so far.

We were there near the beginning of Sylwia’s journey. Now we are proud to tell the next chapter.

This time we took a closer look at the new Octagon Legion Boxing Gloves.

Rather than publishing another "straight out of the box" review, we wanted to see how they perform where it really matters – in the gym.

Patrick from Hardcore Tattoo tested the gloves on the heavy bag, while coach Kamil from House of Fighters shared his experience and valuable feedback. Their input helped us create an honest first impression based on real training rather than first impressions alone.
