After a little break, the Little Mountain Rescue Team is back in action. We’ve dusted off the boots (and bricks) to bring you more behind-the-scenes looks at mountain rescue — in miniature!

Just like the real-life mountain rescue teams, we’re keeping up with the latest kit for our callouts. Stay tuned as we roll out new scenes from the rescue world… one brick at a time.

Somewhere for us to visit!

The Lego District! An artist from Derbyshire has created a model of the Lake District out of around 200,000 pieces of Lego. The model was on display at Belper Library over the weekend.

To mark ’s , a special commemorative will be awarded to serving members of , the police, fire, emergency services, prison services and the Armed Forces. Acting as a token of the nation’s thanks, the follows a long history of awarding medals to mark Royal Jubilee’s, with the first one awarded to mark the 50th anniversary of Queen Victoria’s reign in 1887.

Over 1700 Mountain Rescue England and Wales volunteers will be awarded the medal. Thank you Ma'am!
