RIP : Peta Teanet
( 16 June 1966 - 13 July 1996 )
South African Singer,Songwriter & Record Producer.
Peta was known as the "King of Shangaan Disco Music".His music journey epitomises the romanticised, self taught "rags to riches" road travelled by many South African musicians. He played keyboard, sang in the choir and had so much passion for music. He went to Johannesburg to fulfill his dreams and when he released "Divorce case","Maxaka" and a profilic succession of hit albums. He became the undisputed monarch of Shangaan disco. He commanded instant respect and was devoted to his eight wives & 13 children who accompanied him on tours as his backing vocalists. He was shot and killed by a policeman during an argument in a bar in Acornhoek,Bushbuckridge - Mpumalanga Province.May his soul continue to rest in peace.

RIP : Patricia Majalisa
15 February 1967 - 09 July 2020
South African Bublegum/ Disco Musician.
Patricia left her hometown Mdantsane in the Eastern Cape for Johannesburg as a young girl to pursue her music passion. She met the late Dan Tshanda and they became friends and colleagues. They fell in love and committed to each other in a traditional ceremony.Patricia released hits after hits starting with her debut album "Cool Down" & her second and third album "Witch doctor" and "Gimba" which earned her platinum discs with sales in excess of 50 000 copies each. She was also a part of the much loved disco music groups "Splash" & "Dalom Kids" known for releasing hits after hits. Her fourth and fifth albums "Poverty" and "Dzhengezhe" saw her graduate to double platinum status, with a sale in excess of 100 000 copies each. Her relationship with the late bra Dan turned sour and they chose to go separate ways.Following the painful split,Patricia tried to take her life but the support from her friends and record company got her through the ordeal.Despite all the drama she released albums like "Ipatini" & "Akulalwa" which were produced by the late "Hit Machine" Tshanda. Her music was loved in neighbouring countries such as Botswana, Swaziland, Namibia, Zambia & Zimbabwe.May her soul continue to rest in peace.
