One year today, yet it still feels like yesterday.

Today, 17th July, marks one year since we said goodbye to our beloved mother, Pery. Time has moved on, but the space you left in our hearts can never be filled. There isn’t a day that passes without a memory of your love, your kindness, your strength, and the countless sacrifices you made for us.

In accordance with our tradition and culture, I have abstained from something meaningful to me as a sign of respect and remembrance. It was a small sacrifice compared to everything you gave throughout your life, but it was my way of honoring your memory and keeping your spirit close.

Losing a mother changes you forever. The pain may soften with time, but the love never fades. We miss your voice, your laughter, your advice, and the warmth of your presence. We take comfort in knowing that your legacy lives on through the values you instilled in us and the lives you touched.

Pery, you may no longer be here with us physically, but you will forever live in our hearts. We pray that God continues to grant you eternal peace and rest.

You are deeply loved. You are greatly missed. You will never be forgotten.

Continue to rest in perfect peace, Mum. Until we meet again. ❤️🕊️
