The Times was born on February 7. 1880, as eight pages of tightly packed print and was an offshoot of the People's Weekly Journal which first appeared in 1864. These days it is much bigger - circulated in an area stretching from the golden sands of Wells and Holkham, through to Fakenham and down to the Brecks and Dereham, calling in at all the villages in between. The Times is full of local storie

s, pictures, coming events, sport, your views through our letters page plus competitions, a puzzle page and advertising. We are always looking for news from your area, village, organisation, school or business - so get in touch with us.
