🕊️ In Loving Memory of Bernadette Healy

Following the funeral of our dear friend and former colleague Bernadette Healy — known lovingly as Bernie — we want to take a moment to honour her memory and the joy she brought to Drive105 Radio.

From the station’s earliest days, Bernie was a dedicated volunteer, supporting countless presenters as a researcher. Her quiet professionalism and tireless commitment helped shape the heart of our broadcasts.

But it was her legendary baking that truly made her unforgettable. Bernie’s cakes and pastries were famous — presenters and guests alike joked they’d leave a stone heavier, and not a crumb was ever left behind.

Her warmth, humour, and generosity will be deeply missed. We extend our heartfelt & sincere condolences to Bernadette’s family and friends.

May she rest in peace 💐
