Boy did we have a busy week at Quiche & Cake! 🥧

We’ve recently had the pleasure of supplying Brampton Grange Wedding Venue with our handmade quiches for a couple of events being held at the venue.

It’s great to see our quiches heading out to another local business and being served at larger events and functions.

All handmade, baked, sliced, labelled and boxed by us — ready for delivery.

We’ve been busy filling the fridge with plenty of savoury favourites, homemade cakes and sweet treats for the weekend. ❤️

So sorry, guys! ❤️

The ‘Stocked Fridge’ won’t be refilled until first thing tomorrow morning.

It’s been a bit of a busy baking day here today, and although the baking is done, I’ve still got to package everything up and get it all labelled — and that takes a fair bit of time! 😅

I’m sure it’ll be worth the wait though… plenty of lovely homemade goodies heading your way tomorrow. 🥧🍰

In the meantime, here’s a little video of what I was up to earlier this week — helping out one of my old and favourite decorating customers. Nice to get the brushes out again! 🎨😊

What a shame my chief taste tester isn’t here today… 🤭

Freshly baked cheese scones, still warm from the oven, and somebody had to make sure they were up to standard.

Unfortunately, that responsibility fell to me. 😇
Warm cheese scone, plenty of butter… quality control is a tough job, but someone’s got to do it! 😂

We’re really happy to now be stocking Wild & Furrow Oat M*lk, available in Quiche & Cake’s ‘Stocked Fridge’ for just £1.50 a bottle.

Locally made just down the road in Marston Trussell, Farmer Anne is championing another local small business, and we’re delighted to have their oat milk sitting alongside all our usual goodies. 💛

🥧 A little shout-out for some of our unsung heroes! 🥧

Our Steak Bakes, Chicken & Ham Bakes and Pulled Pork Bakes might not be our biggest sellers in the ‘Stocked Fridge’… but we reckon they deserve a bit more love! ❤️

Dinner was sorted for us tonight! One of our bakes, some creamy mash, veg and a bit of gravy — absolutely cracking and hardly any effort. 🥔🥕😋

And at just £2 each, they make a really good, filling and affordable dinner.

Everything is totally homemade — from the fillings to the finished bakes — made by us in small batches and generously filled. Just pop one in the oven or air fryer to get that pastry lovely and crisp, add your favourite sides and dinner’s done!

Sometimes the simple dinners really are the best ones. ❤️

So next time you’re at the Clipston Egg Co hut, don’t overlook the savoury bakes in the ‘Stocked Fridge’ — £2 and dinner could be sorted! 🥧

Homemade Scotch Eggs are coming to the Clipston Egg Company hut later today! 🥚

Made from scratch using Clipston pullet eggs, wrapped in sausage meat, coated in golden breadcrumbs and cooked until beautifully crisp. We’ll be popping them into the ‘Stocked Fridge’ as half a Scotch egg for £1.

We know you can pick up mass-produced Scotch eggs incredibly cheaply in the supermarkets, and as a tiny food business there’s simply no way we can compete with those prices. Ours are handmade in small batches, using our eggs, individually prepared, cooked and packed by us.

So if you fancy choosing homemade over mass-produced, we’d really appreciate you giving one a try. ❤️
