If a designer asks you for a high-res file, what do they mean?

Well, if you're working on print, web, or campaign visuals, choosing the right format can save you time, quality, and headaches.

Here’s the Gorilla lowdown:
🦍 RAW – Top-tier detail, perfect for editing. Huge files though.
🦍 TIFF – Print-ready, lossless, and sharp.
🦍 PNG – Great for web graphics and transparency.
🦍 JPEG – Fast and easy, but compresses quality.

💡 Rule of thumb: Use RAW or TIFF for pro edits and print. Use PNG or JPEG for web and socials.

📺I was watching TV last night and was amazed at how many big brands were creating ads that could go viral, hoping for that instant impact.

Don’t get me wrong, who doesn’t think about doing that one reel that just goes mental!!

But for small businesses, the real value lies in consistent, meaningful engagement, not vanity metrics… I know, right? How fu***ng dull!😴

But it’s true...👇

How the hell is it Thursday already…😮

Anyway, today I am taking on question 4 of 5.👊

“How Do I Grow My Audience Organically?”

😩Well, it is harder, but you do get followers genuinely interested in you and what you do.
What needs to be done…

👉Quality content + real engagement + platform-specific strategy.

What does that really mean? Read on…👇

Some stats, cos we all love some numbers…

💬My advice…
Brands that reply to comments, ask questions, and share user-generated content build stronger loyalty and reach without spending a penny on ads.

Organic growth isn’t dead. It takes a bit more thought and a little time, but in my opinion, it’s still the best way to grow your brand.👍

👉My Answer.. Quality beats quantity, but consistency is key.

Platform Recommended Frequency
📷Instagram 3–5 feed posts/week + daily Stories
🕰️TikTok 1–3 posts/day
🤨Facebook 1–2 posts/day
🔗LinkedIn 2–4 posts/week
🤏YouTube Shorts 3–7/week

My thoughts…
Posting 3–5 times/week with a mix of formats (Reels, carousels, Stories) outperforms daily low-effort posts. Brands like Glossier and Innocent Drinks maintain high engagement with this rhythm.

As the kids get older, we've now just turned into a taxi service for our young adults that want to swan off to meet up with their mates at all times of the day...

Anyway, back to what I'm supposed to be doing...
