It’s hard to find space for your art. Often it’s a no, it doesn’t fit our space, it’s too expensive, or you get ignored.
I’m so grateful the women at Cabin get it…they’ve hung some of my women’s empowerment collection for a while now, and today I swapped it up for the photo which inspired my Unhuman Nature series ft. Lettie Cunningham (Snorlax)
The image got shortlisted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition last year…in fact it made the cut for the wall but “didn’t fit the space” when it came to hanging it…
It celebrates diversity in a homogenous world.
Meanwhile Unhuman Nature provokes contemplation about humans’ ever destructive relationship with Mother Earth.
